Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing, celebrated at the time of any serious health issue. Anyone who is seriously ill, preparing for surgery, of advanced age, or who suffers a chronic or serious illness may receive this sacrament. A communal celebration of the Sacrament of Anointing is held in October and May.
