Electronics Recycle Drive,

Have strings of Christmas lights that no longer work? Hoping to get new electronics for Christmas and don’t know what to do with the old? We will once again be doing the electronics recycle drive. The weekends will be January 29th/30th. If you need help unloading your items, there will only be help available right before and right after masses on these weekends. There will not be anyone to help if items are brought at other times.

The following items will be recycled: strings of lights, keyboards,  monitors, cell phones, vacuums, iPads, iPods, cords, DVD players, dehumidifiers, any small appliances, pretty much anything with a plug. SORRY…..NO TV’s!! Hard drives will be crushed. Please bring items to the Parish Life Center. If you drop something off other than on the weekends, please put it in the Parish Life Center. NO drop-offs after these dates!! St. Ignatius will receive a portion of the money made from recycling these items. Any questions, please contact Vicki Riley at 419-346-5138 or by email at Please spread the word.

New this year, at the same time as the electronics recycle drive, we will be collecting cookware and knives for recycling. This includes all brands of metal-based cookware, bakeware, and cutlery. Items must be nonstick aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and cast iron. Please package knives in bubble wrap or cardboard and seal with tape to ensure knife tips are safely covered. Other items do not need to be wrapped.  Please keep the cookware separate from the electronics. The money earned from these items will go to the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio. Thank you!
